Axiom Urine Strips:

Now available with two different methods for Glucose determination for selection

Axiom's urine strips now offer both of the two most prevalent methods for Glucose determation used in urinalysis for selection:

1. Now available: a highly sensitive Glucose field with color change from green to blue

2. Our established Glucose field with color change from green to brown

The new Glucose field with color change from green to blue, for Glucose concentrations up to 1000 mg/dl (55 mmol/l)

To allow our customers to choose between the 2 most prevalent methods for Glucose determination that are used in commercial available urine strips today, we decided to also offer strips with a Glucose field that changes color from green to blue as an alternative to our well-established strips with a Glucose field with a green to brown color change.

That way, our customers can now choose for themselves which method is more suited for them according to their personal preferences, habits or specific market requirements.

Our new Glucose field allows measurements of Glucose in urine from 0 to 1000 mg/dl (55 mmol/l). The color chart for Glucose consists of 6 fields, corresponding to 0, 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000 mg/dl (0, 2.8, 5.5, 14, 28, 55 mmol/l ), allowing a sensitive and precise determination even of low Glucose concentrations in urine.

Clinical Chemistry:

To complete our exisating program, Axiom now offers GPT/ALAT and GOT/ASAT as colorimetric tests.
